We believe that the promotion and protection of women’s rights are central and essential in achieving the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) and ICPDC beyond 2014 program of action.

In particular, we recognize that the eradication of poverty, combating of HIV/AIDS and achieving universal basic education among others issues are not possible without a strategy that puts women’s rights at the centre.

To envisage a world that is free from gender inequality and where the human rights of every individual are guaranteed.

To promote gender equality, prevent gender-based violence and reduce the impact of HIV and AIDS and other ill health on women.
